Here’s our very first BIZatBedtime story from Arnold Arnan who writes:
“As an entrepreneur, I feel it’s important that my kids get the experience of starting their own business as well. But my kids and I had a hard time focusing on what our business should be. It had to be fun, easy to manage, and educational in some way. Thankfully, our recent visit to Portland sparked an idea. My brother- and sister-in-law have an awesome worm bin that produces compost and an excess of worms for anyone that needs them. That’s it! So I sat down with the kiddos and made my first purchase of 250 Red Wiggler Worms.
To take our business to the next level though, we used the BIZatBedtime StoryTree to develop our business plan and focus. My kids were really engaged by the simple colorful layout and I was happy that they didn’t die of extreme boredom.
